A short history of how a small group of coaches in Accra grew into a four-team academy.
Our Story
From One Team To Four
Swing Football Academy was founded in 2014 in Accra, starting as a single Saturday-morning training group for boys in the neighbourhood who wanted somewhere structured to play. Word spread quickly, and within two seasons the group had outgrown a single age band.
Today the academy fields four squads — Division 3, U15, U13 and U10 — training out of the Dzorwulu Sports Complex, with a shared coaching philosophy that runs from the youngest beginner to the senior amateur side.
Our name reflects our idea of a footballer's development: like a swing, technique and confidence build momentum gradually, session by session, until a player is ready to compete.

Technique First
Every session, at every age group, starts and ends with the ball. We believe touch and technique are the foundation everything else is built on.
A Real Pathway
A player who joins our U10 group should be able to see, and reach, the Division 3 shirt. Our four squads exist to make that pathway real.
Discipline & Respect
Punctuality, effort and respect for coaches, teammates and opponents are non-negotiable — on the training pitch and on matchday.
Community In Accra
We are an Accra academy for Accra players. Affordable fees, local training grounds, and a genuine stake in Ghanaian football.
